The Great Pittsburgh Book Crawl
May 10-18th, 2025
We’re launching a Book Crawl event for Pittsburgh and the surrounding areas. It’s a great way to spend the month of May shopping for books, meeting other book lovers, and supporting local businesses.
The Great Pittsburgh Book Crawl has over twenty local and independent bookstores committed to the event.
Get ready for nine straight days of book shopping from your favorite indie bookshop in the Pittsburgh area. During the event we encourage you to branch out and shop at new (to you) stores also participating in the crawl.
Participating Stores
What’s a Book Crawl? How do I participate?
A book crawl encourages you to stop and visit participating stores during the dates of the crawl and shop their inventory. At each stop you can get a passport book stamped showing that you have visited that location (passport books are available for free at each participating location). Get enough stamps and you’ll be entered to win a raffle prize put together by all the stores.
